Phong Dien Industrial Zone is located on Phong Dien commune, Phong Dien Sub-district, Thua Thien Hue province, Vietnam. It was established in 2015 as one of the first IZs in this province. The IZ has the area of 400 ha (expanded to 700 ha) dividing into three: Area A (210 ha), Area B (102.17 ha) and Area C (87.83 ha). The IZ attracts investments in multi-sectors: hi-tech and less polluted industries such as electrical, IT electronics, agricultural, forestry processing, aquaculture, food and beverage, garment, construction materials, mining, sand processing, and so forth.

Phong Dien Industrial Zone is located 30km from Thua Thien Hue city center to the north, nearby National Highway 1A and North-South Railway, which is a very convenient location for cargo transport to centered economics areas.
