Nhon Hoi Coastal Economic Zone

Nhon Hoi EZ is located on Phuong Mai peninsula, Binh Dinh province with an area of about 12,000 ha of natural land, including the following communes Nhon Hoi, Nhon Ly, Nhon Hai and Area 9 of Hai Cang District of Quy Nhon City, a part of Phuong Hoa and Phuoc Son Communes of Tuy Phuong District, a part of Cat Tien, Cat Chanh and Cat Hai Communes of Phu Cat District. It has geographical boundaries defined within the geographical coordinates of 109011’ to 109017’ East longitude and from 13045’ to 14001’ North latitude with limitations as below:

- The North borders Ba Mountain, Cat Hai Commune, Phu Cat District;

- The South borders South China Sea;

- The East borders South China Sea;

- The West borders Thi Nai Lagoon.

The entire area of land and water surface is used for the construction and development of functional areas and the non-tariff area in Nhon Hoi EZ under the plan approved by the Prime Minister. The People's Committee of Binh Dinh Province has allocated the land one time to the Economic Zone Administration for implementing the construction and development of Nhon Hoi EZ in accordance with the law.

The investors that are organizations and individuals locating in the country or residing abroad shall be allocated or lease land. The investors that are foreign organizations and individuals shall lease land to implement investment projects in Nhon Hoi EZ with the rights and obligations corresponding to the form of land allocation or lease under the law on land.

Vietnamese organizations and individuals from all economic sectors, Vietnamese residing abroad and foreign investors are encouraged to invest in Nhon Hoi EZ in the following sectors: Business investment in infrastructure, industrial development, urban development, ports, trading, services, tourism, recreation, entertainment, finance - banking, transport, insurance, education and training, culture, sports, science and technology, health, housing, exports and imports of goods and other business activities that are protected under the Vietnamese laws and related international treaties.

The technical and social infrastructure projects, service buildings and public facilities with long-term and stable preferential policies and incentives and open management mechanisms, facilitating investors to confidently invest for the business development and trading of goods and services. 

Nhon Hoi EZ consists of 2 main functional areas, which are the non-tariff area and the tariff area.

- The non-tariff area of Nhon Hoi EZ is included in the general construction planning;

- The tariff area is in the remaining area of Nhon Hoi EZ. There are other functional areas in the tariff area such as: industrial parks, export processing zones, areas for services, tourism, accommodation and entertainment, residential and urban areas, and administrative areas.
