Lien Chieu Industrial Zone was founded in Hoa Hiep Ward, Lien Chieu District, Danang city, in accordance with Decision no. 344/QĐ-TTg of Prime Minister dated April 18, 1998. It has a total area of 289.35 hectare that attracts the heavy industries steel rolling, rubber, cement, chemicals, building materials production.

Lien Chieu IZ locates on 2 sides of The National Route No.1, north of the city, Lien Chieu IZ has a convenient transportation, only 500 m from Hai Van Tunnel, easy to connect with domestic market (Ha Noi, Hue, Highlands Provinces, Binh Dinh, Nha Trang…) and cargo transportation.

Incentives (Tax and Non-Tax)
  • Preferential corporate income tax: applying the tax rate of 10% for a period of 15 years for enterprises' incomes from new investment projects in geographical areas with difficult socio-economic conditions, economic zones or technological parks.
  • Tax exemption and reduction: 4 years exemption since the taxable income and reduced 50% in the next 9 years. The tax exemption or reduction period is counted from the first year of taxable income. In case the enterprise has no taxable income in the first three years from the investment project, the time for tax exemption and reduction will be calculated from the fourth year. When the preferential period expires, the enterprise income tax rate returns to the normal tax rate of 25%.
  • Preferential import tax: Investors are exempt from import tax on equipment, supplies, means of transport and other goods to implement investment projects in Vietnam in accordance with the Law on Export Tax and Import Tax.
