Da Nang Industrial Zone was founded in Son Tra District, Danang city, in accordance with Investment License no. 689/GP of Ministry of Planning and Investment dated October 21, 1993. It has total area of 289.35 hectare.

Incentives (Tax and Non-Tax)
  • Preferential corporate income tax: applying the tax rate of 10% for a period of 15 years for enterprises' incomes from new investment projects in geographical areas with exceptionally difficult socio-economic conditions, economic zones or technological parks.
  • 4 years exemption since the taxable income and reduced 50% in the next 9 years. The tax exemption or reduction period is counted from the first year of taxable income. In case the enterprise has no taxable income in the first three years from investment project, the time for tax exemption and reduction will be calculated from the fourth year. When the preferential period expires, the enterprise income tax rate returns to the normal tax rate of 25%.
  • Preferential import tax: investors are exempt from import tax on equipment, supplies, means of transport and other goods to implement investment projects in Vietnam in accordance with the Law on Export Tax and Import Tax.
