Overview of the EZ

Da Nang Hi-Tech Park was founded in Hoa Lien and Hoa Ninh communes, Hoa Vang Su-district, Danang city, in accordance with Decision no. 1979/QĐ-TTg of Prime Minister dated October 28, 2010. It has total area of 1128.40 hectare and 6 main functional areas: hi-tech production, training development – research, administration – management, housing, centered technical infrastructure, logistics, and hi-tech services.

The development of Da Nang Hi-tech Park aims to attract domestic and overseas hi-tech resources, and develop hi-tech sectors that contribute to economic effectiveness and products’ competitiveness in Danang city and the Central Highland area, Vietnam.
Location Advantage

It is located on Dang – Dung Quat National Highway connecting core economic zones in the central area: Chan May Economic zone (Thua Thien Hue province), Chu Lai Economic Zone (Quang Nam province) and Dung Quat Economic Zone (Quang Ngai province). It is the third multi-functional hi-tech park in Vietnam. It is also near to Cu De River and Ba Na Hilll tourism area as well as Trung Hoa Lake with green bioecological system.

Incentives (Tax and Non-Tax)
  • Preferential corporate income tax: applying the tax rate of 10% for a period of 15 years for enterprises' incomes from new investment projects in geographical areas with exceptionally difficult socio-economic conditions, economic zones or technological parks.
  • 4 years exemption from the taxable income and reduced 50% in the next 9 years. The tax exemption or reduction period is counted from the first year of taxable income. In case the enterprise has no taxable income in the first three years from investment project, the time for tax exemption and reduction will be calculated from the fourth year. When the preferential period expires, the enterprise income tax rate returns to the normal tax rate of 25%.
  • Preferential import tax: Investors are exempt from import tax on equipment, supplies, means of transport and other goods to implement investment projects in Vietnam in accordance with the Law on Export Tax and Import Tax
